This homeowner wanted a comfortable, quiet and energy efficient home and decided to combine a geothermal heating and cooling system with the best possible insulation system – Spray Foam!

Foam was applied to the underside of the roof deck so the entire attic area could be available for storage or living space. There is NO insulation on this attic floor! The entire attic is usable and is as comfortable as the rest of the home.

Spray foam insulation was applied to the underside of subfloors to stop noise in its tracks. Interior walls were also insulated with spray foam for a quiet living space. It was particularly beneficial to totally encapsulate the media room to keep those sounds contained.

The dormer and window penetration was foamed shut and air sealed for maximum energy efficiency and comfort. No air leaks, no noise, beautiful!
